2021 Napa Cabernet Estate Wine
A full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon from two Napa vineyards, 90%
Pocai & 10% Fig Tree, aged in 44% new French Oak. Each
growing area brings a different dimension and complexity to this
wine.
80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec,
3% Petit Verdot with 15.4 alcohol %.
With careful selection and management in the vineyards, only the
highest quality fruit was used on our Cabernet. Fermented in bins
and small tanks. Gently hand punched down three times a day and
pressed off early to maintain fresh fruit vibrancy.
Black currant, raspberry, and cherry pair seamlessly with cigar box,
leather, tobacco leaf, and subtle herbaceous notes. Decant this wine
for 1+ hours or age it for up to 15 years.
David Hanna assisted in the barrel selection and blending to make
this wine a representation of the vintage but also for approachable
drinking upon release.
